Silver Bullion coins are minted from .999 Silver. Silver coins are also called Silver Rounds, and they are one troy ounce of Fine Silver.
What is a silver bullion bar?
Silver Bullion bars are minted from .999 Silver. Silver bars usually come in 10 oz. silver bars, 100 oz. silver bars, or 1,000 oz. silver bars - which weigh near 70 lbs.
What is a Silver Eagle coin?
Silver Eagle coins are 1 oz. silver coins. They have an elegant design and command a higher price than silver rounds. They have been minted by the U.S. Mint since 1986.
Are these coins silver dollars?
The Silver Eagles are also silver dollars, but the value of the 1 oz. of silver is many times more than one dollar.
How much silver is there in silver dollars?
The U.S. Mint stopped making silver dollars with silver in 1935. Here are various silver dollars and their silver content:
1971 to 1978 Eisenhower dollar = no silver.
1979 to 1999 Susan B. Anthony = no silver.
2000 to 2008 Sacagawea dollar = no silver.
1986 to 2009 Silver Eagles = .999 silver
Can I buy silver from the US Mint?
No, the US Mint won't give you silver for your greenbacks.

We charge sales tax to California residents only, 8%.
